Statement of Faith

What We Believe

1. The One True God

We believe in one eternal, omnipotent, and omnipresent God—YHWH—as revealed in the Scriptures. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4). The Hebrew word echad used in this verse signifies a composite unity, one in essence and purpose.

2. The Deity of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ)

We believe that Yeshua of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, the Son of God, and God the Son. He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1, 14). In Him, the entire fullness of God dwells in bodily form (Colossians 2:9). We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

3. The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Bible, comprising the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the New Covenant (New Testament), is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our supreme rule for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that all humanity has sinned and falls short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Salvation—redemption, forgiveness of sin, and reconciliation with God—is a free gift received by grace alone, through faith alone, in the completed work of Yeshua HaMashiach alone. It cannot be earned or merited by human effort (Ephesians 2:8-9). This faith results in repentance and transforms the believer into a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

5. The Indwelling & Empowerment of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) comforts, teaches, leads, indwells, and empowers every believer. The Spirit produces godly fruit (Galatians 5:22-23) and distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Body of Messiah and the effective execution of the Great Commission (1 Corinthians 12:7).

6. The Great Commission & Obedience of Faith

We believe that every follower of Jesus is commanded to actively participate in the Great Commission: to go into all the world, make disciples, baptise them, and teach them to obey everything He commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). True, saving faith is evidenced by a life of loving obedience to God’s commandments (John 14:15; 1 John 5:3). While we are not under the law as a system of merit for salvation, we rejoice in God’s Torah as a reflection of His holy character and a guide for righteous living, written on our hearts by the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:33; Romans 3:31).

7. The One Global Body of Messiah

We believe in the spiritual unity and equality of all believers in Yeshua HaMashiach, from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Gentile believers are grafted by faith into the commonwealth of Israel—not becoming Jewish, but becoming one new man in Messiah, fellow heirs of the promises of God (Ephesians 2:11-22; Romans 11:17-24).

8. The Imminent Return of Christ

We believe in the blessed hope: the personal, imminent, and premillennial return of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). He will return visibly and gloriously, first to resurrect the righteous dead and rapture His waiting bride (awakened, spirit-filled believers), and subsequently to establish His physical reign on earth from Jerusalem. We live with urgency and expectancy, knowing that the time is short, and we are called to be watchful, ready, and actively working to spread this good news until He comes (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12).
